This social video sharing website also comes handy when there's some breaking news footage you have missed or a TV series you skipped last night.
But while you are watching videos, you often feel too lazy to scroll on the mouse and get the work done. So here we list out a few hacks that would help you browse on YouTube with ease.
Skipping initial parts
At times, you had to close a video midway and get engage in some other sites. Now when you want to return after a week, it's not that you have to watch it from the beginning. You can just skip the parts you had watched and resume. For that you won't need mouse clicks.
You can simply press the numbers on your keyboard: skip videos at 10%, with button number 1, or 9 for 90%. The numbers represent the percentage you want to skip.
Make use of the TAB key
When navigation with mouse seems difficult, opt for the Tab key. Once you press the Tab key it gives you a number of options to watch later or Seek Bar or Change Quality.
Here's all you can do with the Tab key:
1. Watch Later
2. Skip video - Press any number between 1 to 9 to skip parts of the video.
3. Play or Pause video
4. Volume up and down- Press up / down arrow keys to control.
5. Change Quality - Press Enter or Space to execute, then press Tab key again to select quality.
